I am planning on upgrading my 4cylinder 2.5 engine but im not sure which way to
go. I use my 91Jeep Wrangelr YJ for mudding and playing around. I want more
power. Id really appreciate if anyone could give me some ideas on what to
upgrade to and approximate costs.

swap in a 4.0L from another
wrangler, that's what i plan on
doing with my 05 TJ 2.4L when it
goes. All you need is new engine
mounts and a transmission to go
along with it, not to sure how
much it will cost,but probably a
lot .
