So, I'll start with the basics I guess. This ISN'T the place to post questions,
but I can give a more detailed history here.
In the beginning....
I went to check out a Jeep about an hour from were I live. I'm on a private
dirt road, and my wife to be drove a Honda Prelude. Didn't work well with the
ruts, or the speedbumps the crazy guy at the end of the road built.
So, I see this 1994 Wrangler S/YJ and fell in love. Now, granted I could see
straight through the radiator, but that didn't stop me. I made an offer, put
down some cash, and went home to order a radiator from JC Whitney.
That was all on a Saturday. Flash to Monday, DMV, insurance, etc. Get a ride
down, pick up the Jeep, put on the plates, and start on my way home. Did I
mention the engine temp display on the dash didn't work? It didn't.
On the drive home, the sunniest day ever in my life (the top was down, of
course) I hear over the sound of rushing wind a knock then a ping. I pull over
immediately to see that I've,what later turned out to be a blown water pump,
started pissing out coolant all over.

At this point, if anyone is still reading, they already know that I of course
went ahead and warped the head. I got it out thanks to the book, had a shop
machine itm and clean it. Got her back together, and I've driven it for 2 weeks
with no issues at all!

That is of course, until now.........

4th of July I'm driving home with some holiday stuff, when the power just seems
to die. Then she wouldn't turn over, but sounds like everything is in order.
So, I had Triple A tow it to a friends garage, which is understandably closed.
I find in the book how to cycle through the engine codes and find code "14" in
there. MAP sensor voltage too low/high. So I buy a new one and put it in with a
new hose.....
And she started!

So I drive the Jeep home leaving my future wifes car at the garage. Get home,
and then she won't start again. The next part is to start searching the forums
and start posting questions. If anyone actually read all this, I thank you.
You obviously have a TON of patients or you're a masochist that loves to hear
the pain of others.....
