Body sag, and dead wires.....

The culprit to my non-running Jeep has been found and eliminated, finally. As it turned out my Jeep is old, and has sagged a bit. This relaxation of sorts had lead to the body crushing the harness and killing power to the fuel pump. After some slicing and dicing, she now send gas to the engine and I've spent the day giving her a bath in all the mud I can find. Thank God!!!!!!

She came back from the dead at least once before....

I had posted a question in the forum section on error codes and got a couple of follow-up questions, but no real solutions. I went ahead and replaced the distributor, distributor cap, wires, starting module, and had already done the plugs after I had the head machined.
Spark, as it turned out wasn't my problem. After she died the first time (the first time since the head job) I replaced the MAP sensor and she restarted. At that point she was building fuel pressure in the line, so I didn't think that could be an issue. So, after eliminating spark, I went to check that avenue again..... No fuel.
So I got a new pump and screen, and attempted to put them in. I hate biting off more than I can chew, so eventually Triple A came and towed it to my friendly neighborhood garage, 15 miles away.....
Dan (the owner and sole employee at the garage) worked my Jeep in, after a couple of days, and dropped my full tank of gas for me. After hooking up power, and spraying fuel all over his shop, it wasn't even the pump. No power coming from the front is getting to the pump. So, I'm waiting for a call to see if he ran power from another relay or if he found the actual issue and treated the cause/symptom at the same time......

So, I'll start with the basics I guess. This ISN'T the place to post questions, but I can give a more detailed history here.
In the beginning....
I went to check out a Jeep about an hour from were I live. I'm on a private dirt road, and my wife to be drove a Honda Prelude. Didn't work well with the ruts, or the speedbumps the crazy guy at the end of the road built.
So, I see this 1994 Wrangler S/YJ and fell in love. Now, granted I could see straight through the radiator, but that didn't stop me. I made an offer, put down some cash, and went home to order a radiator from JC Whitney.
That was all on a Saturday. Flash to Monday, DMV, insurance, etc. Get a ride down, pick up the Jeep, put on the plates, and start on my way home. Did I mention the engine temp display on the dash didn't work? It didn't.
On the drive home, the sunniest day ever in my life (the top was down, of course) I hear over the sound of rushing wind a knock then a ping. I pull over immediately to see that I've,what later turned out to be a blown water pump, started pissing out coolant all over.http://www.jeepforum.com/ubb/brickwall.gif

At this point, if anyone is still reading, they already know that I of course went ahead and warped the head. I got it out thanks to the book, had a shop machine itm and clean it. Got her back together, and I've driven it for 2 weeks with no issues at all!http://www.jeepforum.com/ubb/rotfl2.gif

That is of course, until now.........http://www.jeepforum.com/ubb/droolfactor10.gif

4th of July I'm driving home with some holiday stuff, when the power just seems to die. Then she wouldn't turn over, but sounds like everything is in order. So, I had Triple A tow it to a friends garage, which is understandably closed. I find in the book how to cycle through the engine codes and find code "14" in there. MAP sensor voltage too low/high. So I buy a new one and put it in with a new hose.....
And she started!http://www.jeepforum.com/ubb/cheers2.gif

So I drive the Jeep home leaving my future wifes car at the garage. Get home, and then she won't start again. The next part is to start searching the forums and start posting questions. If anyone actually read all this, I thank you. You obviously have a TON of patients or you're a masochist that loves to hear the pain of others.....
