Well, my end of the shop was on the slow end today, so I've taken the
opportunity to add some friends and pop some comment cherries.....
There is some weird guy kind of stalking the shop. He stopped in one weekend
because he was thinking about piercing his frenum. For those of you that don't
know, it's the loose skin under the head of Capt. Winky. Anyway, I sit him down
for like a half hour playing Q&A, when finally he decides he's going to do
it. I take his I.D. and we process the paperwork. I asked him if he's eaten
within the past 2 hours and I tell him to sit in the waiting area as I set up. I
disconnect our security camera system so that I'm not catching this guys private
areas on tape, lock the doors to my room that can be accessed from other rooms,
sterilized the chair he will be sitting in, and then proceed to set up my
needle, jewelry and tools. I call him into my room, and he then decides that he
feels sick to his stomach and cannot go through with it. The entire time, I had
to talk discretly because he was embarassed, and my co-workers were actually
uncomfortable a bit with the situation because they had no idea what was
happening, and the most I could say was that he was getting pierced. Anyway, he
leaves and says he'll be back later. A few days later he comes back and asks me
all the same questions and even the easy stuff like what our hours are(which are
posted on the door and I've told him twice before that). He then tells me, that
no one else can pierce him, it has to be me and he'll be back later. So during
my down time today I was thinking about the situation and I kind of find myself
a little creeped out by it. I don't know. I've never had anyone act like that
before. I don't know if it's right for me to feel this way it being part of my
job and all. I understand that it's a very personal piercing, and I can
understand feeling a little embarassed or nervous. This guy just acts really
weird and I'm actually considering turning him away if he comes in again. I've
been doing this for a while now and this is the first time I've ever felt
uncomfortable. Anyway, to whoever reads this, thanks for listening and feel
free to leave comments. |

The best suggestion would be , to
have another employee in the room
along with you. You could always
say it is a new policy to prevent
sexual lawsuits. Thats my best
thought . |

It's hard to say what he's
thinkin' on. Nonetheless, if it
was me, I'd prefer to regret
turning him away rather than
regretting I ever let him in the
door...
Lucille Ball once said; "I'd
rather regret the things I did
instead of the things I didn't
do..."
Follow your instinct, it got you
this far... |

He hasn't come back, thankfully,
but I do have a sign that I
proudly hang in the shop that says
"We reserve the right to refuse
service to anyone as we see fit".
For the first time ever in my
career, I might have to pull the
card. Unless of course he doesn't
mind getting pierced by a guy that
I could have come in and do it. ;) |

Yeah I'd say either do not do
this, or if you feel you must, do
not turn off security cameras, and
do not lock yourself in any room,
make sure the others in your shop
have access if needed. Fact is he
may be trying to find the right
time to take advantage of you
being locked in a room and his
pants down. You should NEVER
disconnect security cameras or any
other security system. If you want
to ensure someones privacy, just
erase that portion of the tape
after the job is fully complete.
**** their privacy, your safety
has to be first and foremost |

you may be the first person that
ever touches him there... I'd be
weary if he shows up with
flowers... |
