Look at this place.
Death is all around me, falling from life.
Innocence cast upon the ground beneath my feet like a blanket consuming the
earth.
Amazing, the living never weeps for their loss;
Still breathing and standing tall as everything succumbs to fate.
Lifeless, the limp corpses float to their final resting place in an almost
angelic - like bliss.
Silent. Cold. Beautiful...........

If I imagine how I might have felt
had I wrote that; "Spent & pissed
off" comes to mind...

I think that you were referring to
leaves that have fallen from a
tree or other plant....(probably
because you were tired of having
to sweep the damn things
