What's the big deal?
Over the course of my life I've found that when we drink, sooner or later we
find that we argue relentlessly with the ones we love the most, start
pollinating "flowers" i.e. philander/cheat...start praying to the porcelain god,
making excuses for where the money went & where we were...then there's the
puking on our shoes and for some, ultimately passing blood from an orifice or
two and wondering why the hell life seems to be against us!
As opposed to: toking, laughing, screwing & eating ...seems so simple to
me...why is it so dam* hard for people to get their head around that?
If one finds it hard, (if not frickin' impossible) to accept life on life's
terms and needs to find a way to cope, why not dabble with the doobie instead of
surrendering to what's "socially & legally acceptable"?
Incredibly smart, indeed, often geniuses succumb to the mistress alcohol. Same
goes for marijuana...it's just a fact of life. Then too...
Get drunk & drive and we tend to take risks. Smoke pot and drive and we tend
to avoid those very same risks...I'm not saying or in any way promoting that
drinking and/or smoking pot and then driving is acceptable under any
circumstances, but, after living a whole lot-o-years and having experienced both
more times than I care to admit, there's absolutely no question in my mind that
driving under the influence of alcohol is by far the greater risk to everyone on
the planet...
Legalization of marijuana is not the enemy...ignorance is..."none are so blind
as those who refuse to see".

PreCooked: It was not my
intention to "justify" driving
while stoned. You completely
missed the point... |

The fact that you're trying to
justify driving while stoned just
made all your arguments for "doin
a doobie" null and void...the fact
that you wont be able to see that
and you will argue about it just
proves my point... |

I agree that America can't wrap
around the idea that marijuana is
less harmful than alcohol, or
cigarettes for that matter. They
just don't want to legalize it
because they can't put a tax on it
and make money off it. Now when
that happens, we may see a
legalization. |
