scam companies suck and they broke the power connection on my laptop.
i have been on the job search for awhile now and have gotten more calls from
scam companies than actual companies unfortunately. in my job search i quickly
learned how to spot the shady companies from the legit ones, however a few slip
in here or there. today i received a call from another such scam company asking
for me to come in for an interview on tuesday. of course i accepted and told
them i will be there. before i hopped on the internet to do some research on
them i jumped up from the den in my grannies house (where i am on vacation at
the moment) to go tell my parents i had gotten a job interview. my damn power
cord got caught in one of my feet and yanked the cord into and away from its
connection. it still works but the hole is now movable and if i push the plug in
at an angle it doesnt register a connection some times. damn damn damn. if that
damn scam company hadn't called me my laptop would still be 100%.
the company ended up being one of those insurance places that wants you to hound
your family and friends to buy policies they dont need while you make $0/hr,
even though you are guaranteed to make "tons of money!!!" they got my resume
under the pretenses of being a 'marketing firm'. how dare they...
