I am sad to say I think I'm going to switch back to my 32's. I currently have
35's installed on 3.07 gears. The jeep runs them well, but I think it would be
best to downsize until I get regeared and beef up the axles a bit...
I need a set of tires for my jeep grand cherokee. the jeeps my DD and I will be
doing about 90% in the street and 10% in the mud but dont like the looks of an
all terrain tire. so if anyone knows of a very aggresive all terrian trie, or
even better a mud tire that last long on the streets... money's not a issue if I
can find my perfect tire someone help me.
Well, I just completed something that will tide me over till I can afford a lift
and 33s. My brother just bought a 91 Jeep (private party). When he bought it,
they guy gave him an extra set of wheels and tires (31" Kumho MTs). He didn't
want them so, guess who got them? Yep! Put them on my wheels Sunday and now
Daddy's happy. The truck now looks mean and ready for business. The 31s are
10.5s and I was wanting some 12.5s so they stick out, but now that I have them
on, I think that I will stick with the 10.5s. Yes, I will still be putting the
BFGs on, but not until these were out.
I am happy! Thanks Bro!
What I want to do is..... put a,*** Ranch Hand w/winch on the front***, ***Ranch
Hand on the back***, ***20' Black KMC Rockstars*** or **Monsters**, ***Nitto Mud
Grapplers***, ***4' Lift***, ***NEW GEARS***, ***2 8' JL AUDIO subs***, with all
new speakers***, ***In-dash Navi and CD player***, ***Air Filter***,
***SuperChip***, and anything else that helps with performance and Gas!!
But I'm looking here to see if anyone has any pictures of Rockstar Rims or
Monster Rims on their Jeep, or pictures of a Navy Blue jeep with Rims, lift,
whatever! just to see what it would look like!
I'm sorry for posting this here, but I don't know how to start a forum and this
is a question I need answered soon! I just bought a used 2003 Jeep Wrangler X
5-speed, and the speakers (mainly the bass) are blown. The woman who owned this
before me upgraded the system to a 7 speaker system........I know there are two
speakers are on the roll bar, and the bass is in the center counsel, but where
are the other 4 speakers located? Any suggestions on new speakers? Or how to
remove the bass from the center counsel? Another question......My Jeep is
silver, so I am wondering if chrome accessories such as a grille overlay would
look ok on the silver? Or should I leave it alone, or add black accessories?
Ok....1 more.....everywhere I have looked, for a 2003 Wrangler, the wheels can
only be 15" or 16", is this correct? I have 15" with 31" tires.......no lift
kit......I would like to have 17" or 18" wheels, but I am not sure if that is
possible....if anyone could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it!!!
THANKS!
I'm running 33x15.5x15's right now and have thus far had ZERO problems with
them. Time to purchase new tires has rolled around fast though and I'm gonna be
in the market within a couple of months. So, after doing a s***load of research
and having used my own experience I've narrowed my choices down. Whats it gonna
be? What do ya'll reccomend? Two choices... you guessed it, BF Mud Terrains and
Goodyear MTR's. Who has either of them? Who hates them, who loves them, and any
other info you can give me? Thanks Ya'll. - Caleb
Hi, I'm Bob and I am new to off-road jeeping. I love the outdoors and have found
that having a vehicle that can get me there is also fun. I have a new set of
31x12.5" thornbirds that I would like to trade for other accessories.
The JeepForum Project CJ7 is coming along really well! Ran into a few snags here
there including finding out the front of the frame had been modified by the
previous owner which we have to undo to correctly fit our Hanson front bumper
and Smittybilt winch. Expect some great articles over the span of the next few
weeks on products we have installed and modifications that have been done.
Today our meats came in! 35x12.5 Interco TrXus Mud Terrains. We have to finish
our BDS lift install and then these bad boys can hit the axles. Can't wait to
test them out. We've ran the TSL/Radials and TSL/SX in the past. Both tires gave
outstanding performances both on the rocks and mud. We wanted to curb it down a
little for this project because it's going to see more road action than the
previous two.
