I am sad to say I think I'm going to switch back to my 32's. I currently have 35's installed on 3.07 gears. The jeep runs them well, but I think it would be best to downsize until I get regeared and beef up the axles a bit...

So the kritter just made and survived her first big offroad. over 150km of forestry road to an all natural hot spring. She ripped through mud, creeks and even under a waterfall. i wish I had remembered my camera. Tires kicked ***, and we definitely stomped all over the F150 we had with us. Stupid engine light is back again, yes I know, I know I need to get my computer read.
An added bonus to my week we had an amazingly greasy dump of snow the other night and I got to enjoy some donuts in the day lots time. My tires are actually almost too good in snow! Not anywhere near as scary as driving my old YJs in the snow!
The downside, is definitely my retarded lock in the passenger side door. STUCK! Seriously these moments I''m having with the jeep on a weekly basis are starting to make me a little crazy! i haven't even been able to afford to fix my turn signal problem yet!

has anyone realized how exspensive jeep armor is these days. do you know that the average rear bumber and tire carrier costs around 700.00 bucks.. well if you live in the north georgia area i can help bulid you a custom bumper, rock gaurds, highway pegs, what ever u need. i am currently trying to build up three or four jeeps as well as my own TJ. my goal is to get a few of these jeeps together, so that i can take pics for a future web site and brochure. if you are intrested in having some custom gear made for you rig contact me at chrisking@throttlejammers.com... i am willing to do the work for a very small fee and the cost of material.

Bought my jeep a few months ago and love it, the only thing is that the after market top that it has sucks!! starting to rip a bit and its a pain to take down and put it back up! Loking to buy one know and just seeing what tops other people have and what should i get? Thanks for the help!

guys i have an 88 jeep commanche that i cannot get started it runs great but i just cant figure it out i changed the starter, solenoid, the voltage reg. the timing is on right and other than that i have no idea what the hell else to do i could use some expert advice on gettin my ol girl back on the road

The official pace car for last weekend's Dickies 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup race was none other than the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS. This, in itself, is no biggie. What's interesting is how the car was delivered to the Texas Motor Speedway prior to the race. If you watched sports over the weekend, you know that salutes to America's veterans were part of just about every event that took place (Veterans Day is tomorrow, remember).
