Today embarks my first days of my relationship with a Jeep. We've had some
ongoing flirtation but I finally asked him out today. He said yes. We'll be
living together on Monday. But seriously I just bought a 2005 TJ Wrangler
Unlimited. Electric green they say. He's a looker I must say. But seriously I
don't know his name. I keep throwing names out there since he doesn't talk to
me yet but unresponsive. So I will keep everybody updated if I found the name
thing out. Since I know SO MANY people are going to read this...NOT!
Funny, this is about the only thing I would want to blog about... Bought a 97TJ
about 3 weeks ago. Its needs a little bit of maintenance to get it to be in
good condition, and then a lot of time and money to get it as awesome as I want
it to be (see body work, lift, paint job). Which will cost me more than it did
to buy it. Today I went out and just checked the fluids and generally easy to
access motor stuff. I'm not car retarded but sometimes I wish I knew more guys
in town who were into the whole fix your truck thing.
Not much new. The vertically driven rain cover has been working out well. I've
been managing to go all week with no top. With autumn approaching, I'm using it
to keep the leaves out of the Jeep too. It's quite stiff when cold though, and
it gets little creases in the canvas. I'm guessing it will crack and tear at
some point. I'm starting to think about the hard top. I'd like to make it till
the first snow without the hard top, but I'll probably put it back on when the
temperature starts getting into the lower 30's. Maybe it will be December,
we'll see.
Ok so i have a 2004 Jeep wrangler and I wanted to add something new to the
inside of it. I have been looking at putting in some new seats but dont really
have the money for it right now. So I was woundering if I could put in some
harness belts on the seats I have now. I couldnt really find any answers online
so if anyone knows if i can please comment. Also if anyone has pictures of them
doing it to there jeep send me a pic. Thanks
I have everything i need to lift my jeep. i bought a 3.5" standard rubicon
express lift, a rubicon express adjustable track bar and a new rear track bar
relocation bracket. Right now im not worried about getting the vibes but can
anyone give me a heads up on control arms? im really not familiar with them. i
know they deal with my handling but i need to know if they will affect my drive
seriously. im a daily highway driver and i need to know im not going to die. lol
The interior is not completed yet, but it is getting there. I installed a
Pioneer Supertuner CD player with Detachable face and 2 Pioneer 5 1/4 speakers
in the dash.
The Transmission is a T176 Casting number C2604203 manual 4 steed. Is there
anyone out there that would know where to find one? Engine is an AMC 304 V8
