I have 500 dollars that i want to spend on my 2004 I6 Special Edition stock Jeep. I am looking for suggestions. I do a little bit of off roading but not having any recovery points is holding me back so i was thinking some tow hooks and a trailer hitch. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

LOL. I got an awful lot of response to my blog about yuppies and Jeeps. I loved all the comments. Truth is everyone who responded that seemed to be offended use their Jeeps. The ones I am talking about are the ones who stay home because there is half an inch of snow on the ground and don't know how to even engage 4 wheel drive. Although I must say the comment about buying a low mileage Jeep in great shape at an awesome price because some yuppie didn't drive it is definately something I hadn't thought about. I do buy my Jeeps used and that is a great point!

Went shoping to day for a pic a part that would have a 242 for my Zj. Come to find at one of my best Pick a parts that i love to go has a back section that has atleast 12 Jeeps that are between '96-'98 and some older modles. You pay a little more but its worth it. Getting Font Complete axle, Front drive shaft, 242 , and rear axle for $600. My Jeep isnt in all that of a good shape. It was abused by its last owner who had no respect for it. But if you live in Sothern California and would like info about this place dont be affraid to ask. Or if u live to far i will be willing to help out meaning if i gotta drive there to see if they have what ur looking for....

I was totally brain dead the other day and left the side windows off and it rained and htere was like an inch of water under the drivers seat. It all shop vaced out and took like 3 days to dry fully...

Ujoints and linkages were fixed on thursday. Kritter went up an old forestry road to a lookout on the mountain on friday. Crawled over some small rocks. Stomped a few puddles. Made it home with no broken parts. Fun had by all. A bit nervous right now as during the ujoint work the mechanic didnt replace the seals in the dif. they gave me a 75% chance that they were still good and won't spew oil everywhere... But that it may... and then I will have to get that fixed too I figured it was good enough odds for me!

So i just got a new 20 gallon tank and sending unit for my 91 YJ Jeep Wrangler. I installed my tank with sending unit but stupid me, i cant remember which line goes to which sending unit valve. I know one line goes from the fuel filter but not sure which valve it goes to. Can someone help this country girl who'd love to get out in the woods with her jeep to do some mudding/trail ridn before winter time?

1st off I'm a girl, so nobody believes me when I tell them about the idiot @ NAPA. So I was tolk that my jeep could use new U Joints. I called NAPA & the guy told me that my Jeep did not have U Joints.

My Jeep is coming up on 100,000 miles for the first time. I'll probably try to take a picture of all those 9's when they are lined up on the odometer. Not long now, only have 2 more 9's to fill in.
