steel wheel or alloy wheel?

Im getting my first set of black rims with my new tires (cooper stt 265-75-16) and need to know what rim I should get? what's better?... long run? ...stronger? I got every question to ask and need some help. The size wheel is 16X8 ..if a steel wheel is around 75 bucks for a 16X8 is it worth just paying a little bit more for alloy ones? HELP IS REQUIRED (I have a 2004 jeep grand cherokee special edition)

The morning after installing the new PVC bow, we had several lines of thunderstorms come through the area. I'm very happy with the result! No damage to the cover and no huge puddle to deal with.

My dog now like bolts

I took the valve cover off last night, due to small leak in the rear. I had laid all of the bolts out in order on a towel next to the Cherokee. I get a phone call from my sister and have to run in town for a minute. I am gone about 30 mins, come back, and my fiance had let the dogs outside. I had left the garage door open, but made a point to tell her not to move the towel because the bolts were in a specific order. I come back and 3 are missing. I find two in house, one in the kitchen, the other in the living room. I can't find the 3rd one, it could be anywhere.

I got some PVC parts and pieces and put together a bow to hold up the rain cover. Without this, the cabin cover gets a puddle of water in the space above the front seats. This holds the cover up so the water runs off. I saw it here on the forum somewhere and I made one for about 7 bucks. I'm going to make these for the tarp on my M416 also, so I can leave it outside without filling it up with water or leaves or snow or whatever.

The check engine light came on today! God. As if this is happening. Fluids are good. It still has the annoying sputter that I'm hoping a fuel filter/air filter replacement will fix. God. Well it goes to the shop on thursday. Hopefully I won't really work before then so then I won't be driving it till someone gets a good look at it.

Green Light For $$$

Just got the go ahead to start training coming early November. This increasing my income by another $600/month not including available overtime. Meaning ITS TJ TIME!

Within another seven days I plan to begin listing the XJ for sale and drive out to Phoenix,AZ. I'm saving a few thousand by traveling out of state to buy a TJ than buying one locally. Hopefully I find a deal on a rig with the NVG3550/231, though if I get a good deal I won't complain as long as it is stock and has a D44.

PS: I still have a Fab'd hood with a scoop intake. Needs a bit more primer and then shes ready for paint. If anyone is interested it's going for only COST OF SHIPPING(Been just siting around rather see someone put it to use)! PM for pics.
