My 91 cherokee with 3" lift "pops" loudly while turning the wheel sharp at low speeds. Anyone else had this? Is it something broken? Need fix or alterations? Thanks for your input.

Thanks... I'll give that a try. I'm kind of a "newbee" at this. Appreciate the help!

first guess, front axle u joints. Crawl underneath and grab a hold of the front drive shaft. Keep your eyes on your U joints that connect your inner and outer axles together while you turn the drive shaft back and forth. There should be no movement at the U joint.
