Thinking about a lift...
Main Blog Index

Date Created: 02/07/2008

I called around yesterday for local shops to install a lift, I want to clear 33s or 35s not sure yet, I was thinking about the 4.5 Rubicon express lift, but after talking to Troy from jersey jeep N Customs its going to cost me $5300 to get it installed. So now i am thinking about a body life and a mml. Not sure about going to 35s any more....

Sorry, if you have the Rubicon all you will need is a CV drive draft.

Well think about a ACOSs by JKS first. I have them on my Jeep and i would say they are a great! You The front are 1.75 and are ajustable to 3 or 3.5 inches. The rear are 2inches and are adjustable to almost 4. Add the rear shock relocating brackets and you could be sitting on 33's all day. It took me about 2 hrs to do all that with a car lift. Windingtrail.com has one of the best writeups for RE stuff. Stu's site, 4x4xplor is good. Are you wanting a short arm or long arm? anything over 3.5 you will need the SYE and the drive shaft.
